Sustainable Development Goals(SDG)

In order to align its academic endeavours with the UN 2030 agenda for sustainable development, KITSW established the SDG cell.

  There are three main components to this agenda.

a) Economic expansion, 17 objectives (or goals) are developed for
          b) Social inclusion and
          c) Environmental protection.

  The 17 SDGs are:


  1. 1. End poverty

  2. 2. End hunger

  3. 3. Ensure healthy lives

  4. 4. Ensure quality education

  5. 5. Achieve gender equality

  6. 6. Ensure access to water and sanitation

  7. 7. Ensure access to affordable energy

  8. 8. Promote economic growth

  9. 9. Build infrastructure

  10. 10. Reduce inequality

  11. 11. Make cities sustainable

  12. 12. Ensure sustainable consumption

  13. 13. Take action on climate change

  14. 14. Conserve marine resources

  15. 15. Life on land

  16. 16. Peace, justice, and strong institutions

  17. 17. Partnerships for the goals
