Women Empowerment Cell (WEC)
SDG 3 SDG-3: Good Health and Well-being:

The Women Empowerment Cell contributes to SDG 3 by organizing awareness programs on mental health, stress management, and overall well-being of women students and faculty members.

SDG 3 SDG-4: Quality Education:

The Cell plays a significant role in achieving SDG 4 by promoting inclusive and equitable quality education for women students. It promotes equal access to education, skill development programs, mentorship, and career guidance for women.

SDG 3 SDG-5: Gender Equality:

Gender Equality is the core focus of WEC. The Cell undertakes structured activities aimed at gender sensitization, leadership development, safety, prevention of discrimination and harassment, dignity, and empowerment of women students and staff.

SDG 3 SDG-10: Reduced Inequality:

The Women Empowerment Cell addresses SDG 10 by implementing initiatives that support inclusivity and equal participation of women from diverse social and economic backgrounds.

SDG 3 SDG-16: Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions:

The Cell contributes to SDG 16 by promoting ethical conduct, POSH awareness, grievance redressal mechanisms, and transparent institutional practices. These efforts strengthen engineers by developing responsible citizens, reinforcing professional integrity, mutual respect, and encouraging transparent and effective institutional interactions.
